EMEA HR Programs Manager

The primary function for this position is to be a high performing business partner supporting both the Aerospace Fluid & Electrical Distribution and Fuel & Motion Control facilities in the region.  The Regional HR Programs manager will partner with all site HRM's in the region and Operations leaders, to ensure the deployment of large-scale HR initiatives, programs and processes across Aerospace; develop and deploy standard best practices; coordinate HR Program activities in accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines.  

Additionally, in partnership with the FED & FMC Operation Leadership Teams, the Region HR Programs Manager will provide guidance related to Region and Global HR Programs and Policies, collaborate to develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to create a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives. 

The scope of responsibility includes support of all Aerospace manufacturing facilities in the region.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Align all HR programs, processes and tools for the Region with both the short/long-term business objectives and action plans with a focus on the Eaton Philosophy & Values in the context of doing business right

  • Act as a business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the FED & FMC Facilities and Functional Leadership Team

  • Consults with HR leaders and functional/business leaders on employee/leader development, organization effectiveness, and culture change initiatives

  • Understand how HR impacts the business and profitability and develop and deploy people strategies to help achieve business-driven objectives and action plans

  • Support organizational capability assessments to assess pipeline strength, determine skill gaps and identify and support all necessary developmental actions

  • Identify, develop and deploy initiatives and best practices in communications, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development and total rewards for performance that encourage employee retention, job satisfaction and positive morale

  • Support the development and execution of talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs for the Aerospace group in EMEA

  • Facilitate ELDP assignment process and oversee ELDP programs in EMEA to help build the talent pipeline.

  • Facilitates organizational improvement and feedback processes including administration, communication and action-planning connected with the Employee Survey and PULSE processes.

  • Develops strategy to improve female diversity metrics across EMEA

  • Drive the Achieving Performance Excellence performance management process and tools to help raise the bar for individual performance, measure sustained improvements, goal-setting and provide coaching and feedback improvement

  • Drive the HR Operating Review process throughout EMEA  to ensure alignment and support for all facilities to the corporate expectations

  • Drive the Operational assessment programs for HR support throughout EMEA – ensuring consistency and alignment throughout all facilities

  • Develop and deploy a range of learning and developmental experiences that build the necessary knowledge, skills and values required for organizational success

  • Develop and deploy reward and recognition programs that are effective in attracting, retaining and motivating employees

  • Coach others on how to engage and retain key talent, identify when there is a retention risk and differentiate between wanted and unwanted turnover

  • Coach and educate managers, supervisors and employees on company guidelines, supervision, counseling process, conflict resolution, interpersonal communications and effective group interaction

  • Champion and fully contribute to the Eaton Business System initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws through appropriate program and process management, as well as ad hoc situation analysis and subsequent plans of actions

  • Provide both remote and on-site support as needed to all regional facilities as needed.  Up to an including providing active HRM on-site support for any long-term vacancies and/or to cover short term needs.

  • Assists with the onboarding of all HRM's into the Aerospace Group.
     

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required (in business management OR human resources management)

  • Master's degree in business or human resources

  • Must be willing to travel internationally - (travel up to 50%)

  • Relevant years of human resources experience with role progression

  • Past experience in manufacturing environment
