Job Description

Eaton’s Crouse Hinds Division is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Global Materials. The Senior Manager, Global Materials will be based in the Syracuse, NY location.

 

Position Overview :

The Senior Manager, Global Materials is a key strategic leader at Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business responsible for materials management for the global business including:  inventory planning, materials management and customer order fulfillment. The incumbent will have division responsibility for production planning, master scheduling, and inventory management; and will be accountable to implement and maintain global processes to maximize overall supply chain efficiency.  This position has global responsibility for driving materials management consistency throughout the global business platforms to achieve customer service and inventory goals. 



Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required

  • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management

  • Minimum 5 years experience with ERP/MRP systems

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

 

Preferred Qualifications :  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering

  • 10 years of experience in supply chain management

  • SAP expertise

 

Position Criteria :

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and strategic leadership

  • Cross functional communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build consensus with key stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills – including ability to present and articulate strategic business direction in forums that include executive senior leadership

  • Proven experience in implementation and execution of supply chain information and performance measurement programs
