Job Description
The successful hire will lead the Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness function for our Global Vehicle Group Division, with revenue of $3.2B and 13,000 employees.
In this role you will work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources for the division and senior leadership to operationalize strategic initiatives that effect talent management and organizational effectiveness for the global division. 
You will be accountable for:
  • Providing consulting support to global and regional leadership to build organization capability, improve individual and organization performance, and develop the global leadership pipeline through the identification and development of high potential talent.
  • Applying diagnostic tools, organizational change management principles, and effective coaching techniques for the development of organizational strategies, structures, and processes to facilitate the successful development of our talent and execution of the business strategy.   
  • Utilizing proven organization change management principles and methodology to support large scale organizational change initiatives.  Enables a change ready organization by building OCM capability across the sector and developing change leadership competencies.
  • In partnership with Business Group's Vice President of Human Resources and operations leadership, facilitating the development of Organizational Capability Assessment reviews and succession plans, identifies talent upgrade actions, and facilitates the execution of those actions. Leads the Performance Management process and utilizes analytical tools to assess and improve individual and organization performance.
  • Acting as an internal consultant and subject matter expert to advise and consult with operational and functional executives in organization design and assist in the planning and development of the appropriate organizational structures, architecture and support systems.
  • Conducting organizational assessments & diagnostics for team & organization development, using defined methodologies to identify critical issues and root causes and implementing appropriate solutions to improve team & organization effectiveness.
  • Facilitating organizational improvement and feedback processes including management of the 360 feedback process, leadership coaching and mentoring.
  • Overseeing the employee survey and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in organizational effectiveness.
  • In cooperation with Talent Acquisition Center, developing long term staffing plans aligned with the business plan for the selection, development and retention of high caliber and diverse talent to meet future organizational growth plans.
  • Leading initiatives to support the culture including activities to support Eaton’s diversity and inclusion efforts, executive mentoring and coaching, and initiatives that foster integration of our values into management practices and behaviors across the business.
  • Assessing professional and management development needs across the sector and defines development solutions and deployment strategies to fill the critical jobs pipeline and to establish core leadership and functional competencies throughout the organization.


Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Effectiveness, IR, Human Resources, or Business from an accredited institution
  • 7 years’ experience
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
  • MBA or MA in Organizational Effectiveness, IR, or Human Resources preferred.
  • Group intervention and team development skills, including team-based manufacturing work systems.
  • Change management methodology including large scale change initiatives. Strong analytical, consulting, and coaching skills.
  • Developing business partnerships with operations leadership in the deployment of human resource strategies to support the business plan.
  • Management and leadership program development and strong stand-up facilitation skills.
  • Performance management systems deployment, including feedback processes.
  • Strong understanding of competency models.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Influence and cross cultural competence to manage cross boundaries and cross cultures.
