With almost 100 employees we are  a vibrant engineering and Innovation Center for electrical, vehicle, hydraulic, and aerospace applications for the region focus on businesses in Europe, Middle-East, & Africa .

 

Primary Functions:

 

  • The HR Manager for Eaton European Innovation Center (EEIC) has the responsibility to manage and coordinate all activities related to HR management, including the expansion efforts, at EEIC.As a member of the site leadership team, the HR Manager helps establish regional goals related to human capital needs. Responsibilities include the development and the implementation of strategies and programs related to recruiting, talent management, employee development, compensation, employee relations, and building organizational capabilities.

  • This position reports directly to the Eaton European Innovation Center Leader and functionally to the Corporate Technology Organization (CTO) HR Senior Manager.

     

Essential Functions:

 

  • Acts as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the leadership team.

  • Understands the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability.

  • Drives culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Diagnoses gaps between current and desired and deploy actions to resolve the gap.

  • Ensures organizational practices align with the Eaton philosophy.

  • Assesses and select top talent in a timely manner, partnering with Talent acquisition team and hiring managers.

  • Ensures that performance management practices are fully integrated and that the processes are completed to raise the performance bar.

  • Provides advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to functional leaders. Provide guidance and direction on complex business and HR issues.

  • Advocates employee communication processes that inform employees and ensures meaningful two way communication.

  • Administers compensation and benefits programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that reward superior employee performance whilst working within the framework required by local employment law

  • Integrates and supports all Eaton established processes, such as organizational development, employee surveys, Eaton Philosophy at Work Practices, APEX (performance evaluation).

  • Partners with the rest of the HR organization to implement standardized global HR processes (EMEA +Corporate HR).

  • Ensures that the site is in compliance with legal requirements and with Eaton programs and policies, cooperates with HR Managers of other Eaton sites in Czech Republic to achieve local HR practices alignment.

  • Manages and develops the team to ensure high quality service delivery whilst optimizing the use of resources. Coordinates training and development interventions in cooperation with internal trainers and Eaton University.

  • Engineering regional early talent development, including university / engineering school partnerships

  • Coordinates relocation of newcomers.

  • Recruitment and training budget responsibility.

  • Partners with EMEA PR Manager and external PR agency to strengthen Eaton branding.

  • Provides HR support for current and potential government funding opportunities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree.Demonstrated, knowledge of Czech HR labor laws and organizational development practices.

  • Must be fluent in English and Czech including verbal and written business language ability.

  • A minimum of 7years HR and strong recruitment experience (Universities relationships)

  • Strong operational HR knowledge with focus on retention strategies, HR marketing

  • Experience in expansion ofan engineering operation and recruiting of technical talent very welcome.

  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and thoughts to people at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in a matrix organization

  • HR experience in an engineering or technology environment is a great asset
