Team leader Order Management (m/f)

 

Location: Hengelo, The Netherlands

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Project and Order Management handles ATO and ETO (assemblies to order, Level I and engineering to order, Level II ) electrical systems for customers world-wide: LVS, MVS, Services and/or turnkey projects, custom-made electrical systems and/or modifications world-wide.

  • Manage a group of about 7-10 people in Order Management process (Level I and II) for PDD within the EMEA region, respecting the (national and international) valid procedures, guidelines and applicable law and rules & regulations to ensure timely availability of quotations and information to customers world-wide.

  • Lead, manage, inspire and motivate assigned team of Order Managers (level I and II), according to Eaton Leadership Model requirements and in line with the applicable HR policy;

  • Set priorities, if necessary, in close co-operation with Manager and Sales Country Organizations

  • Manage all aspects of orders for the standard or solution business (Level I and II)

  • Monitor quality and progress of work, check and approve work of subordinates (calculations, risk analysis, contracts, project planning, delivery and payment conditions) within authorization level and/or in close co-operation with manager

  • Continuously improve processes and procedures;

  • Stimulate change and improvement, assess proposals of subordinates as well as to propose change or improvement of processes to higher management;

  • Discuss with Sales Country Organizations and/or customers world-wide about quotation or order details, all in relations to quotation or order management, within given authority level;

  • Ensure timely and correct reporting to manager in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines and ensure recording and traceability of data;

  • Comply with Eaton Business Systems and practices.

     

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor in electrical engineering or similar

  • Leadership skills, social understanding and people management skills

  • Political and organizational awareness

  • Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage products, i.e. switchgear, UPS, batteries, transformers, protection relays, SCADA/Automation etc. preferred

  • Terms & Conditions, recognizing possible risks for the company

  • General knowledge of electrical networks & systems preferred

  • Market and customer knowledge

  • Knowledge of Engineering, Calculation and Manufacturing Methods, Tools and Systems

  • Project/Order management and Quotations

  • PC and installed software

  • English and Dutch language
