Supply chain shared service is an Initiative that provides functional and value added support across each vertical of the Supply Chain Functions for the Eaton sites across the globe , key areas of focus are standardization, consolidation, automation support and leveraging best in class available tools / techniques / processes .

SIOP Core Knowledge Essentials :

 Gathering demand from sales & marketing team for all sectors, inputs from various functions to prepare master demand schedule/ forecast.
Coordinating between Marketing, Production, engineering & Procurement functions for SIOP.
 Finalizing monthly target & reviewing quarterly requirement considering overall demand, material availability, and inventory & operations capacity.
 Monitoring forecast accuracy for all demand streams.
 Preparing daily, weekly & monthly production plan in line with demand & supply.
 Tracking production status with respect to target.
 Supporting Physical inventory
 Conducting demand fulfillment meeting with cross functional team members in order to understand supply readiness & constraints against demand.
 Uploading of Demand and Forecast in ERP.
 Checking the child parts demand and forecast in ERP and communicating the same to planners.
 Data analysis experience to be able to generate Variance report.
 Coordination between internal and external customer for streamline of demand and forecast figures and circulating to the concerned team.
 Knowledge of market intelligence and capturing the status of demand, supply and growth.
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Lookup, Pivot & Formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
 Identify methods to streamline the process-analysis work and improve customer satisfaction.
 Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.
 Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports.
 Tracking of production and inventory status with respect to Target v/s Actual.
 Manage the support of discreet and scheduled EDI intercompany order processes:
• Enter Discreet PO’s into the buying sites MFGPro system on a daily basis.
• Review and resolve action messages generated by either process on a daily basis.
• Works with the IC sites to expedite, de-expedite or cancel orders, where required to meet current plan and customer order requirements.
• Deliver weekly and monthly reports to the sites Supply Chain Manager on the activities and health of the EDI lane.
 Drive Lead time alignment across regions for intercompany purchases maintaining the accuracy and validity of the item master and related planning data in the ERP system through monthly reviews of the data that ensures MRP processing is being driven by accurate planning data.



Team Leader Responsibilities :

 Provide management and guidance to SSC SIOP Team to deliver high quality, prompt material management services. Coordinate the development and training needs for their subordinates to enhance his/her capability and careers.
 Responsible for sharing, with the team, best SIOP practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with SIOP planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization
 Manage work load across the team over the daily, weekly and monthly schedule to achieve the specified requirements
 Collaborates with Global and Regional teams to achieve the greatest outcomes in support of SCM strategic goals and initiatives and clearly communicates and presents ideas, concepts and processes.
 Develop and integrates continuous improvement
 Lead the team to support and enhance the SIOP process to support the global and regional teams in their daily weekly and monthly processes, metrics and reports.
 Analyze data and prepare reports as required by the Global Materials Manager to facilitate the monthly SIOP reporting schedule.
 Facilitates cross-functional collaboration with others to achieve the greatest outcomes in support of supply chain management strategic goals and initiatives
 Develop and manage appropriate team metrics to drive performance improvement and ensure business goals are met.
 Support the monthly regional demand/supply response roll up across multiple plants as part of executive SIOP meeting by analyzing all metrics, data, plant and supplier input, and drawing conclusions and coordinating presentation materials
 Support regional Consensus Review step of the SIOP process between plants, finance and demand planning utilizing standard plant SIOP supply response.
 Manage Teams work load by setting specific goals and assigning processes as best fit skill set and available time.
 Train or set up training for team members as necessary to do required reports or processes.
 Be the liaison between team and SSC manger and SIOP manger
 Work with Global Materials Manager on regular monthly reports.
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Lookup, Pivot & Formulas) and intermediate knowledge of Access, Word and PowerPoint.
 Ability to navigate an ERP system from the supply perspective: Item Master, Purchasing and Scheduling screens and parameters
 Identify methods to streamline the process-analysis work and improve customer satisfaction.
 Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on ad hoc requests.
 Manage Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports.
 Flexible in attitude and approach to accepting all tasks related to the position & Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.
 Excellent written and spoken English skills
 Ability to communicate short term overloads of staff and set priorities with Global SIOP Manager



Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution .
• 7 to 8 years’ experience in Materials, Supply Chain, and/or Sales & Operations planning
• Excellent English communication skills both orally and written
• Advanced skill level in MS Office: Excel, word and Power Point.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Operations / Materials Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain
• APICS CPIM certification or actively working towards the certification
• Direct production, inventory management and material planning/scheduling experience
• Firm understanding of the SIOP process steps: Forecast, Demand, Supply, Consensus, Executive
• Practical understanding of SIOP driven Materials Management including forecasting, scheduling, capacity analysis and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, develop people, hold people accountable, leverage direct and indirect resources, build relationships with key partners, and manage without authority.
