A. Analyses inventory needs in order to define a strategy of items to be purchased in order to satisfy customer and production needs, and also to keep a good financial cash flow. Must work with buyers, warehouse crew and production supervisors to determine what will be needed to meet orders and implement/interpret significant details from reports.
A. Controls and assure material is properly transacted in SAP.
B. Understanding site's inventory situation and making recommendations to improve that situation.
C. Identify and follow trends related to materials internally and externally.
D. Develop and execute action plans for negative trends in raw materials and finished goods.
E. Interpret and implement significant details from reports on market variables such as consumer trends and spending.
F. Identify gaps on BOMs and trigger action plans to fix and improve their structure.
G. Lead cost out activities related to inventory consumption decrease.
E. Draft reports or create and handle inventory databases.
F. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
G. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
H. Motivate employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
A. Schooling: Technician or related fields required. Bachelor’s degree or related field are required.
B. 2 years experience in area
C. Broad knowledge in the areas of inventory, purchasing and bill of materials.
