Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This is a key role within the fire product line marketing team. The content specialist will be responsible for working with all fire product managers to develop compelling value propositions and to create associated launch box assets for all product launches.
 
The content specialist will work with the marketing team to ensure product value props reflect buyer needs in targeted segments and that launch box assets developed that help accelerate the sales cycle at key knowledge inflection points throughout the customer’s buying journey. The content specialist will also work closely with country sales organizations throughout the NPD process to develop launch box assets for new offers that exactly meet their requirements.
 
This content specialist demonstrates an understanding in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization.
 
 
 
 
 

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements)

List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
 
 
  • Maintain a content roadmap for the product line and feed tier 1 & 2 launches into the divisional roadmap.
  • Work with the fire PLM and divisional content specialist to ensure strong alignment between product management, marketing and sales throughout the NPD process
  • Oversee the translation process for all product line content
  • Ensure that value propositions for products developed with specific target segments and associated buyer personas as the starting point
  • Lead development of all ‘launch box’ assets in a timely way that fully meet the requirements of both targeted buyer and seller personas at all stages of the customer journey for segments targeted by new offers
  • The fire content specialist will work closely with the fire product management team, the division content specialist and the central segment marcomms team and participating Country Sales Organizations (CSOs) to provide content for targeted nurturing programs and demand generation activities driven through the segment season campaigns.
  • The product line content specialist will feed relevant information to the segment team to help define season topics based on major NPI value props and key regulatory drivers.
  • Coordinate all product line marketing activities in cooperation with LSD and segment marcom teams.
  • Drive fir products training materials creation
  • Drive fire product tools creation (configurators, calculators…)
  • Work with segment and product managers in the creation of technical white papers
  • Active role in organizing product elements for all events (fairs, technical days etc.) and customer related activities to support our brand awareness in the market.
  • Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.
  • Supervising writers, editors, content strategists; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
  • Develop content in coordination with product line managers as defined in the One Launch processes
  • Supporting the maintenance of content inventories and matrices.
