Field Service Technician Littleton CO

Eaton Electrical Services & Systems Division has an opening for a Field Service Technician in Littleton, CO.

The primary function of the Service Technician is to provide hands-on field service, technical and engineering assistance in the areas of troubleshooting, repair, testing, start-up, maintenance, repair, modification and training on electrical power distribution equipment and controls. Service Technicians are self-starters and capable of good job communications, managing and performing assigned projects through satisfactory completion for commercial, institutional, industrial and utility customers in this area. Service Technicians regularly perform hands-on work with electrical power distribution and control equipment, including low and medium-voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, motor controls, relays, metering, PLCs, variable frequency drives, transformers, switchboards, panelboards and various other electrical equipment. Personal computer and office suite software, network interfaces, electronic test equipment and hand tools are used daily. Regular travel to jobsites throughout the area is required.

Position Criteria:
•Experience with electrical power distribution systems and equipment service, such as transformers, switchgear, relays
•Ability to work on VFD start-up and troubleshooting
•Capable of self-managing assigned projects for electrical equipment, including working knowledge of electrical test and diagnostic equipment
•Strong communications, interpersonal, computer and technical skills
•Ability to adjust to frequently changing project needs
•Experience managing small to medium turnkey projects
•Submit to periodic customer required background and drug test screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:
•BS Degree •Minimum of 3 years experience in a field service environment servicing electrical equipment.

•Authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

•Valid Driver's License no restrictions
